The Wobbles
If anyone happens to have read my angsty little grumble the other day about how much I have ahead of me to do, and was a bit worried or was thinking it unfair that I had so much to do ‘by myself’ – well DONT!!
We all have days now and then when we feel overwhelmed – days when we feel a little wobbly…
Whether it’s because its an overcast day, we’re ‘hormonal’, we’ve had a shit day at work, or maybe its just because the cat puked on your favorite pair of pants(!!) – we all get to feeling that way sometime or other…
I do however want to put a little perpective on this.
Downstairs, we have our carport and workshop.
I use the term carport verrrry loosely – mostly because it has never actually been used to house a car – except for that one time during a cyclone – and really is just an outdoor extension of the workshop (ie overflow area lol)
Now this is an area where I am not only not ‘allowed’ to clean/tidy – but an area where you would need to hold a gun to my head to get me to pack it up.
And even then it would be dubious whether or not i would relent!
Nope, no-way, no-how, not gonna happen…. NOT MY JOB!
And quite apart from that – just the very idea of having to pack that shit up fills me with absolute dread, horror and panic.
I’d rather pack and unpack two houses, than do that area – seriously!!
(see photos below, and you’ll fall into one of two possible catagories of people – you’ll either entirely agree with me, or you’ll be lusting after all those tools and crap that are stuffed in there)
And funnily enough – I’m pretty sure that Suzey thinks the same in reverse….
All those plates, books, linen – all that kitchen shit, all that random useless stuff thats hidden behind cupboard doors.
Nope – she isnt keen on doing any of that – not even a lil bit….!
So it actually all works out in the end – and it works out well.
If I’m having a melt-down, she will come in and soothe my insanity, until I can deal with shit again.
And I’m the same voice-of-reason and giver of squishy hugs, when she is having the wobbles.
We work well together – very well – thankfully!
Editors note:
Nope – I wasn’t coerced into writing this.
I don’t even know if Suzey ever even read the initial blog post that inspired me to write todays one – I just feel that this Life of ours (& our blog) needs balance – and if you’re going to read about the days when it feels like its all too hard, you need to know what the days either side of those look like too 🙂

Lol. I know that feeling! When Elaine asks me to go into her work area and find a tool (which is a rarity) I just stand there like a deer in headlights.

I’m lusting after your tools.
